What we have done

• Text and background colours meet WCAG contrast ratios.
• Everything works with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a Skip to content link.
• Images have text alternatives; decorative stitch charts and threads are hidden from screen readers.
• Animations stop when your device asks for reduced motion, and videos never play with sound.
• Every piece’s openness is written in words, not only shown in pictures.

Known limits

The moving thread on the home page is decorative and is not needed to use the shop. Payment pages from our payment providers follow their own accessibility standards.
